2. Credit Card Information

Our application does not collect or store sensitive payment details such as full credit card numbers, CVV codes, or expiration dates.

What We Store

For user convenience, we only store the following limited information:

• Card Type (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
• Last four digits of the card number

This limited data is stored solely for recordkeeping and personal tracking purposes within the application.

Security & Privacy

• This information cannot be used to make payments or initiate transactions
• It cannot identify the complete card number
• All data is kept securely in compliance with industry best practices

We take user privacy seriously and protect this information with the highest security standards.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve our app’s features.
• Enable trip planning, collaboration, and expense tracking.
• Send you service updates, notifications, and support messages.
• Ensure security and prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

TripLinq is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the “Effective Date.”

9. Delete Your TripLinq Account

At TripLinq, you have full control over your account and personal data.

How to Request Deletion

Inside the TripLinq app:

1. Go to Settings → Profile → Delete Account.
2. Confirm your request.

Alternative method: Email us at support@trip-linq.com from your registered email address with subject “Delete My Account”.

What Data Is Deleted

When you request deletion, we permanently remove:

• Your account information (name, email, profile details).
• All trips, itineraries, expenses, and uploaded documents.
• Any shared data with collaborators.

What Data We May Retain

For legal and compliance purposes, we may retain:

• Transaction records (if any) for up to 90 days.
• Aggregated or anonymized usage data that cannot identify you.

Once the retention period ends, these are permanently deleted as well.
